Oddity of Feathers

Beyond the Bark Presents Oddity of Feathers. Which is on its way to the 2009 Copenhagen Puppet Festival

Foreign Object

Foreign Object is a piece incorporating Marionette, Shadow and no masks. The bottle people and a baby boy are trapped and cast out to to sea, to a foreign land where slavery awaits them. Sold at auction with art work as if they are objects they are passed around and mishandled. The baby grows into a little boy on the streets of England, he stumbles onto a slave auction and this brings back memory's he didn't know he had of his mother and country. He sees the boat he arrived in and climbs a board. Is he going home or has he just died that is up to you.

Toured to The Foundling Museum 07, Buxton Puppet Festival 07/08 and The Rosemary Branch Theatre 08
